Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Operation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome<\/a> occurs when the tube containing the median nerve narrows. The resulting pressure on the nerve causes weakness and increasingly restricts the movement of the hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The median nerve goes through the so-called \u201ccarpal tunnel\u201d which runs along the palm and flexor tendons. This nerve is responsible for the rotation of the hand as well as for flexion of the hand. If this tunnel becomes narrower and therefore susceptible to additional pressure, we call this Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Most people affected by this condition are over the age of 35.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a condition that affects the hand and will continue to deteriorate without medical treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
